Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is the platelets found in your blood (plasma). These platelets consist of growth factors which stimulate the production of collagen and elastin with the use of trauma (caused by microneedling). PRP is acquired through the extraction of blood from a patient, followed by centrifugation. The act of centifuging one’s blood seperates the platelets from the blood cells increases the concentration of platelets.

Anybody who has taken a course in Phlebotomy. Estheticians and cosmetologists would need to take a phlebotomy course before this course if they want to learn the hands on portion of the PRP training. otherwise, you may take the course, but you cannot participate in the hands on portion of the PRP training.

There is a minimum of two students per class and a maximum of eight. We keep our classes small to ensure each student gets as much individual attention as possible
