Frequently asked questions
Will I be learning about all the different brands?
No. There is no way to cover all of the brand and their particular interface designs. However, the concept of how these machines work are all the same and we will discuss as the different parts that go into customizing the treatment to each client. Additionally, we focus on the science and the physiological changes to the hair and skin, as well as, tips and tricks needed to make you a confident and competent technician.
Are there any risks working with or preforming Laser?
There has been no direct links to any long term adverse affects to working with lasers if you properly follow protocal. However, we do train on the best posture and techniques to minimize fatigue.
Is it painful?
There are different machines that have different pain factors. We will train you on tips and tricks on how to minimize pain for your clients in case you get a job working with a more painful machine.
Does laser hair removal work on all skin types?
We will train you on all of the different skin types, their properties and limitations, and the safest technologies to treat them.
How many students are in the class?
There is usually 1-3 students per class. We keep our classes small to ensure each student gets as much individual attention as possible. If you are a company looking to train your staff, we prefer training everyone together and giving you a progress report on each individually through an exit exam. We will then provide additional resources to those we feel need it.
